This course has unfortunately been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We hope to run Made of Money later in 2018. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Many people worry about their finances after the expense of Christmas, especially with extra costs of caring for someone with of disability. Disability charity Scope estimates that families with a disabled family member pay an extra £550 every month just to pay for essentials.

What is Made of Money?

To help carers stay in control of their finances, the Carers Support Centre is offering Made of Money, a free four week money management course.

Created by Quaker Social Action, Made of Money is a practical, effective series of workshops covering everyday money management. Sessions cover topics such as setting a budget, learning how to save and feeling more confident with everyday finances.

Many of us feel like our money manages us rather than us managing our money. Made of Money is designed to turn this around, giving you back control over your finances.

Make saving money a lifelong habit

Starting on Wednesday 17 January, 12.30pm - 3.30pm at the Carers Support Centre, the Carers Support Centre is proud to be able to offer this course free of charge to carers in Croydon.

Booking is essential for Made of Money. To book, call 020 8663 5608 or email appointments@carersinfo.org.uk
